  1. Want to ask this question to this forum as you are more knowledgeable than I am. What are your opinions about eBay seller Komonjo. Curious what the origin of manufacture is for the blades. There is a caveat that some of the signatures are unproven , bid on the steel. your thoughts please thanks Rick
  2. Hello Stephen : Please excuse my late reply. Thank you and others that replied for your reply and help. Wanted to let you know that I didn't purchase the blade in question. I wasn't comfortable about it and wanted to ask this forum for their help before deciding to try my luck at bid. Again, my apology. Rick
  3. Stephen Thanks for help posting. Would you please expand on your reply to help me understand more about what might this sword be. Is it an attempt to mimic a gendai? Thank you

  7. The sword was sold a few years ago as part of an effort to give my wife a good Christmas . The photos came back to me recently after my dad died. I gave them to him . I decide to post them here in hopes of a translation. The translation helped me find the site where another sword by the smith was for sale. Akinori was the first sword I purchased. I enjoyed it while it was with me.
  8. Found this http://www.nihontoantiques.com/fss593.htm Appears to be same smith . Mei looks like one on sword I asked to be translated. Thanks again Rick
