  1. Thank you anyway. Perhaps someone with more infomation about 'new' smiths will be able to help. Andrew
  2. From my position of complete ignorance, that's what I assumed. Does anyone have any information about this Yoshisada? Would it help if I posted photos of the entire sword and blade? Thank you Andrew
  3. I have a sword that has been signed by Fujiwara Yoshisada. Was he one of the smiths working at Seki? There appears to have been an Ishihara Yoshisada working there, as referenced here: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=7517&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=yoshisada I would much appreciate any information. Andrew
  4. Thank you for that confirmation. Is that a different Yoshisada from the one referenced here: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=7517&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=yoshisada The 'writing' certainly looks different. Andrew
  5. I would much appreciate assistance with this mei on a sword that has WW2 mountings and in fact came from the Philippines at the end of the war. As far as I can see, the tang reads: Fujiwara Yoshisada kore saku Is that right? If so, could ayone give me information about this smith? Many thanks. Andrew
