Your opinion on current eBay swords FS
micko replied to alon3232's topic in Auctions and Online Sales or Sellers
hi, it seems a lot of collectors frown upon ebay I tend to disagree there are a lot of good swords thet flow through ebay swords picked up from vets, estates ect. it's the dealers I don't trust and probably wouldn't buy from because they are only interested in profit anyway. ivé bought and sold several swords on ebay and have been happy with my deals,it's like anything you buy take a good look ask questions and do a deal if you wan't. micko. -

gday Chris,of course you are correct, ivé been researching the Harima no Kami Fujiwara Teruhiro saku mei's and couldn't find a match thats what made me think gimei . because i'm missing the top kanji it may not even be Harima no Kami (Fujiwara Teruhiro saku) it may well be for eg. Hiroshima ju (Fujiwara Teruhiro Saku).which i can't find an oshigata for i know a shinsa group would probably solve my problem but i have at least 5 swords i would take before this one so i will try and solve the quest myself and hopefully with some help and advice from others after all thats one the fascinations of nihonto to learn and learn and be wrong when you think you are right to me anyway.ivé added some photo's of the blade for anyone thats interested. micko.

GDAY,can i get some help ,opinions on my wakizashi ivé had this blade and mounts near 15 years and it's always been on the backburner now ivé decided to do some homework on it .the first 3 or 4 kanji are hard for me to read due to their state i think it reads hirama? no? kami? fujiwara teruhiro saku, i'm not sure there are several teruhiro that signed this mei so i pulled this one out of the hat, i havn't enough Literature so i'm relying on hawleys and the net, from my studies ivé formed my own opinion it maybe gimei .any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks, micko

seems like this thief is at it again his last venture had been cancelled i have reported him to ebay i think if someone has a little time to spare they should report him also before a poor unsuspecting newbie gets stung. micko. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Boys-DAISHO-kat ... 415db21139

hi all, china's a very ""shonky"" country those with a little power basically do what they want if you have trouble a little bit of yuan under the table and problem solved. wouldn't send a sword to china no way, believe me ivé travelled china for the last ten years i met my wife in china, beautiful country but very corrupt. micko -
hi ,i've noticed there are more of these coming out of Japan lately the seller claims 70 year old,i'd say 5 year old buyer beware. micko http://cgi.ebay.com/H085-Real-KOSHIRAE- ... 35b4297ed7
