  1. Sure, I’ve acquired a sword that I believe to be Hideki Tojo’s. I’m in the process of putting together a complete evidentiary picture that spells out the facts. I have some of it on my blog now such as a sworn affidavit from one of the CIC agents that apprehended Tojo and liberated the sword, but I have a lot more to be added. Anyway, as part of that picture I’m looking for someone highly knowledgeable to authenticate facts about the sword not relating to its ownership by Hideki Tojo such as its type, origin, clan, circa, etc,. Really, anything that can be ascertained from the sword itself. Any help in identifying a locally acclaimed sword expert would be greatly appreciated (within a few hundred miles of Boston). Here’s a few links this forum’s participants my find interesting... Photographs of the sword: http://tojos-hara-kiri-sword.com/?p=525 Sorry, best I can do until I find my expert to help me take it apart. How I got the sword: http://tojos-hara-kiri-sword.com/?p=3. How the CIC agent got the sword from Tojo: http://tojos-hara-kiri-sword.com/?p=48. Best Regards, Gregg
  2. Mario, Thanks! However, it’s not a WWII military sword; it was just acquired during WWII. I’ve been told that the sword itself dates from between the 13th and 15th centuries.
  3. I’m looking for a Japanese sword expert in the Boston area to look at a sword I got from a WWII vet. Does anyone know who is the most accredited expert in the New England area? Regards, Gregg Davey
  4. Pete, I'm doing some research on the day Tojo was captured and one of his swords. I would love to talk to you and/or your dad about the picture you have. Please contact me either here or me through my Blog. http://tojos-hara-kiri-sword.com/ Regards, Gregg
