  1. Hi, thanks for your help. I think of a gimei too, because nothing seems to fit together at this piece. Saya is nice but the kozuka is of an really poor style. Also none of the both holes will match for the tsuka. If I get a hamon on the blade I will post it here. Maybe we can see more. Dirk
  2. Hi, get an Japanese sword last week, which i could not match. It has a short thin blade, with no hamon. But it has a signature. But the signature itself seem to be very sharp, tang has no rust either, so i guess this may be a fake as well. The inscription shall read as "no kami rai kanemichi". Blade length: 33,4 cm Height:2 cm at habaki Thick: 4 mm at habaki kozuka made of tin ?! Saya of polished ray skin. Should i call it a wakizashi ? If yes, from what aera ? best Dirk
  3. Thank you you are great all the best Dirk
  4. Hello, here are the best pictures i can take with my camera. Hope it will help. Blade length is 59 cm at all.
  5. Hi, I m not shuere to be in the correct forum but i get a wakizashi with a subscribed blade. This one seems to be shortened in older times. Here is the inscription wich i tried to draw. Has anyone an idea how the signs are correct and what they mean ? Is there a swordmaker who could be identified ? thanks
  6. Hi, thanks all. The engaving of he pictures are less deep than the signature, so maybe two different persons ? I feared it could be a fake but of course it is better to know the truth. Dirk
