Hello David, the Kyu Gunto is a Company Officer grade (lieutenant to captain) rank example in very nice condition. The blade is an oil tempered example common in these swords, however the overall fit and finish is quite high for a non traditional blade. The bayonet I will leave to someone more knowledgeable.
