Just got this back from the Japanese sword society of Canada.
They authenticated it as genuine.
Amazing blade, everything on this sword is amazing, especially considering its age.
Two character stamp stating "nobuhide"
Its also signed on the other side of the tang.
Asking $2900 shipped
No trades

Nice blade, but not Nobuhide 信秀, Teruhide 輝秀.  Way it is engraved, mei looks like Ihara Teruhide opposed to Ishido Teruhide

CORRECTION: checking this post again and realized my comment regarding the mei should read the opposite.

It should read, looks like Ishido Teruhide opposed to Ihara Teruhide.

Correct.
But we do require at least a first name please. And I think clarification of what we have here is important to potential buyers.
You call it a rare signed WW2 katana, so I guess we would ask what makes it rare, and what did the society say it is?
